Supporter Terms
Last updated: 9 October 2026
This offer is closed
Section titled “This offer is closed”From 7 October 2026 until 9 October 2026, Kioku offered a perk on its Ko-fi page: if your support during the beta added up to US$25 or more, Kioku 1 would be yours for life, however 1.0 is sold.
The offer closed on 9 October 2026, before anyone had given anything, so no one is owed a license under it.
Ko-fi now
Section titled “Ko-fi now”Ko-fi is a plain tip jar. A tip buys nothing and unlocks nothing: Kioku is free during the beta, every beta build has every feature for everyone, and your data is never gated. Opening, backing up and exporting your collections stay free in every version.
If there is ever a Kioku 1 license to buy, it will be sold through a store that handles taxes in every country, with its own terms, and announced on kiokuweb.com and the beta email list.
Why it closed
Section titled “Why it closed”A perk promised in return for a tip makes the tip a sale, which carries VAT in many countries. For a handful of supporters, a tip jar with nothing attached is simpler and more honest.
