Settings

A complete reference to every setting on Kioku’s Settings page, grouped by its on-screen section.

Settings are buffered as you edit them and persist only when you select Save settings (or Save in the sticky Unsaved changes banner). Navigating away with unsaved changes prompts you to Discard first. Theme and Highlight colors apply to the screen immediately but still require Save to persist.

Use General, Learning, Library & backups, Privacy, and About to find settings. Switching categories keeps unsaved changes; Save settings saves changes from every category, and Discard reverts them together. Actions such as backups and analytics still apply immediately.

Under General → Optional features, Enable Plan shows the Plan workspace, its command and shortcuts. It is off by default, including for existing collections without a saved preference. Select it and save to enable Plan for the current collection. Each collection remembers its own choice. Turning Plan off or resetting settings preserves schedules and history. Active schedules are not paused; their elapsed time continues, and timers resume when Plan is reopened.

For the full list of bindings and how rebinding works, see Keyboard shortcuts and the Customize shortcuts guide.
